Day 16 - 18 London & Boston
Wow! We had a crazy busy three days traveling around London. We went to the British Museum. I saw more Egyptian and Greek antiquities. We saw the Rosetta Stone which was instrumental in learning to read hieroglyphics. Cleopatra’s one of the most famous female pharaoh’s and the last one. Her mummy is located at the museum. We visited the Elgin Marbles. The Parthenon was blown up and the pieces were collected and sold to the museum. Unfortunately, the museum refuses to return it to Greece. Mama knew I was feeling melancholy so we went for a ride on the London Eye. I was able to see London at 360 degrees. To wrap up the day we went on a cruise down the Thames. The next day we went on a Harry Potter tour around London and had a fancy macaron cake after dinner. I almost forgot that we had English tea time at the museum. That crazy guy was our tour guide on an old school double decker bus. My leaves are welting from this trip. I need a ma...
