Day 16 - 18 London & Boston

Image
Wow! We had a crazy busy three days traveling around London. We went to the British Museum. I saw more Egyptian and Greek antiquities.  We saw the Rosetta Stone which was instrumental in learning to read hieroglyphics. Cleopatra’s one of the most famous female pharaoh’s and the last one. Her mummy is located at the museum.  We visited the Elgin  Marbles. The Parthenon was blown up and the pieces were collected and sold to the museum. Unfortunately, the museum refuses to return it to Greece.  Mama knew I was feeling melancholy so we went for a ride on the London Eye.  I was able to see London at 360 degrees. To wrap up the day we went on a cruise down the Thames.   The next day we went on a Harry Potter tour around London and had a fancy macaron cake after dinner.  I almost forgot that we had English tea time at the museum.  That crazy guy was our tour guide on an old school double decker bus.  My leaves are welting from this trip. I need a ma...

Day 15- London

We rode the rail today taking the train from Paris to London. I saw Big Ben in the distance.   We even visited Kings Crossing like in Harry Potter.  Speaking of HP we visited Warner Brothers studio for the Harry Potter Experience. I saw all the props and sets for the movies. Momma even made a silly movie. Maybe she will show you if you ask about it.  I almost got eaten alive by one of those plants.  Mama had to dig me out and save me after I got swallowed up in the soil.  Once we got to our hotel, I decided to play hide and seek in the flowers.  See if you can find me!

Day 14

Today was a slow day.  We went shopping and I saw a watch that cost over $100,000.  They had many beautiful timepieces at Breuget.  I learned about watches I never heard of like Patek Philippe, and Jaeger Le Coultre.  Mama didn’t buy me anything.  Next we visited Moulin Rouge. Unfortunately the windmill burned down last month then we rode a tram too.     .  Next, we went to a beautiful church called Sacre Coeur.  While walking around Sacre Coeur,  mama saw this interesting store that takes pictures of your eye. Mama, Hayden and I did a portrait together. My eye blended into the background.  Oh well, I tried. Finally, we toured the scary catacombs. It was dark damp tunnels that run under Paris, that is full of skeletons.  I hid in mama’s jacket.

Day 13-more Paris

Today I was able to visit the Eiffel Tower. We rode the elevator to the top. We went to another famous location the Arc de Triomphe. Earlier in the day we explored the Louvre Museum. I even saw the Mona Lisa and Egyptian antiquities.  Momma kept her word and fed me a chocolate macaron and crepe.
